FIRST® LEGO® League 2026–2027 Season: BIOGLOW™

Launching on August 4, 2026, the new BIOGLOW™ Challenge invites students to explore the vibrant world of ecosystems through hands-on STEM learning.

Open to ages 5–16 (grades K–8), FIRST® LEGO® League continues to inspire young innovators with real-world problem-solving using LEGO® Education technology.

This final season will feature two editions (availability may vary by region):

• Founders Edition (Grades 2–8) using LEGO® Education SPIKE™
• Future Edition (Grades K–8) using Computer Science & AI technology

In general, you can set preferences at any time while Preferencing is open…. note that your preferences will be deleted if the Team Status is not “Good”  AND the team has paid their regional registration fee.

If you are not interested in attending a Qualifier tournament  (ie you are interested in a Spring League tournament)  – you do not have to worry about this.   Not sure what this means – here is a graphic that explains the difference(s) between our 2 different League Seasons here in NorCal.
